Habitat At bank of a stream, granite decomposed soil, thick leaf litter up to 2.5 m. Growing in a tree gap with Polyscias, Argyrodendron, Ficus, Cryptocarya, Ackama. Leaf litter 2.5cm. Growing in a tree fall gap, squashed by a fallen tree.
