Occurrence remarks Prostrate shrub with flowering stems to 8 cm high. Taproot long and narrow but easily broken. Roots along trailing stems. Some roots have white nodules. Leaves dark green and glabrous above, white hairy below, red-brown mucro present or absent depending on plant. Plants with heads of flower buds or flowers at this time. Bracts around calyx brown with white hairs. Calyx stipules long, hairy, to half way along calyx lobes and with long narrow apex as for calyx lobes. Standard on inner surface yellow with many red veins at base, outer surface yellow
