Occurrence remarks Clumped herb to 90 cm high. Rhizomes long but internodes short. Stems and leaves green. Fruit grey to red-brown. Leaves reduced to red-brown sheaths at base of culm branches and further down the culm. Inflorescence bent but not strongly curled
