Field notes Herb to 24 cm high. Leaves dark green and surfaces concolorous. Sepals pale yellow with white hairs and sepals appressed to petals. Petals bright yellow, each with a small pocket-like nectary the same colour at the base of the petal. Fruit green at this time, smooth and with a hook at the apex.
