Event remarks With cumbungi (Typha) and Juncus and sedges. Common. Spirit collection also at MEL. In still water of pool in creek, and in damp to saturated soil beside it; water levels receded; soil sand. Leaves to 25mm wide, plano-convex changing to flattened toward the apex; deep glossy-green above, paler cream-green beneath; some bending abruptly at water surface to float on it, others erect, or emerging at the surface then looping back so that the distal portions float. Stems cream to green, not maroon-red; rachis and pedicels also. Rhizomes buried 15-20cm below soil surface; tubers to 30cm below surface.
