Organism remarks Stipitate, bronze coloured, globose, c. 0.1 mm diameter, total height c. 0.4 mm, in small scattered groups. Stalk tapering up, furrowed, bronze coloured, curved, erect or with a kink, filled with granules except near apex. Peridium bronze coloured, reflective, partly evanescent, remaining as a net with a very small ribbed cup (webbing between the ribs). Peridial threads +/- flat, wide (c. 2 um diameter), nodes hardly expanded and flat, nodes and threads filled with granules, granules 1-1.5(2) um diameter. Spore mass ochraceous; spores by TL colourless, minutely warted, 8-9 um diameter. Spores larger than the typical 6-7 um and the peridial granules larger than the typical 1-1.5 um.
Occurrence remarks Shallow pockets of brown sand covered with deep litter. In a small dry gully of sandstone blocks, near top of the hill. Substrate: bark of live Eucalyptus miniata.
